FGO’s Planned Giving Society
Donors who have included Florida Grand Opera in their estate plans are automatically inducted into the New Millennium Society where they receive special recognition and exclusive event invitations in gratitude for their generosity.
If you have included FGO in your estate plans and are not yet a member of the New Millennium Society, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. FGO would love to hear from you so you may be appropriately thanked!
How to make a planned gift?
The most straightforward way to include Florida Grand Opera in your estate plans is through your will. You can use the following sample language if you intend to designate your bequest to FGO’s general purpose:
“I give and devise (___________________________), without reduction for any tax occasioned by my death, to Florida Grand Opera, a Florida charitable corporation located at 8390 NW 25th Street, Miami (“FGO”), to be used or disposed of as FGO in its sole discretion deems appropriate.”
A bequest of this kind will allow FGO to use your gift in the area in which it is most needed.
You may also designate your gift to a specific program or purpose; please discuss your planned giving intentions with FGO staff in order to ensure your wishes may be accommodated.
