Institutional support from private and family foundations and government entities provides significant funding for FGO's annual activities. All mainstage productions in both Miami and Fort Lauderdale, student and community education outreach programming, and the Young Artist Studio receive grant support from arts and education funders.
Florida Grand Opera recognizes and deeply appreciates the dedicated grant awards it receives from local, state and federal government agencies. These awards, in support of general operations and specific programming, defray the significant costs associated with producing and presenting grand opera. Government revenue supports FGO’s cultural programming and provides a valuable benefit to South Florida’s increasingly diverse community.
