Presenting opera is our passion, and the safety of our patrons, artists, and staff is our top priority.
Florida Grand Opera has been closely monitoring the situation regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus). We have been staying up to date with the recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and local public officials including Miami-Dade County, Broward County, and the Florida Department of Health.
Florida Grand Opera has suspended all performances of Rigoletto, March 28 – April 5th, at the Adrienne Arsht Center due to its closure. The performances of Rigoletto at the Broward Center, April 30 & May 2, remain scheduled at this time.
Ticket revenue and donations are the life blood of Florida Grand Opera. We hope to mitigate the loss of revenue from canceled performances, and you can help to ensure our financial stability going forward by:
Receiving a credit for tickets purchased for Rigoletto, March 28 – April 5th in Miami, and applying the value to any future performance, including those in our 2020-2021 season
Becoming a philanthropist and making a tax-deductible donation of the value of the tickets, and showing your support for FGO. You will receive a letter for your 2020 taxes along with our deepest appreciation
This a trying time for all of us. I hope that FGO patrons can remain a family even though we cannot come together and share this upcoming production in Miami.
