Greater Miami Opera establishes its Studio Artist Program.

Graduates of the program who have returned in leading roles in company productions include Troy Cook, Rachele Gilmore, Leah Partridge, Elizabeth Caballero, Jonathan Michie, Andrew Bidlack, Tom Corbeil, Martín Nusspaumer, and Hailey Clark.

Another notable FGO Studio Artist alumnus is Jeffrey Buchman, who has returned to direct 13 mainstage productions at FGO since 2012. Still a frequent collaborator, Buchman will return to FGO once again to direct a groundbreaking production of The Magic Flute this fall.
