Bringing the Magic of Opera to Young Minds.

Florida Grand Opera is passionate about making opera accessible, exciting, and unforgettable for young people in our community. Each year, we reach more than 25,000 students across Miami-Dade and Broward counties, transforming classrooms into stages and giving local youth the chance to experience the power of live performance.

Through curriculum-aligned programs, students don’t just watch opera—they step into its world. They attend dress rehearsals, meet internationally acclaimed singers, and explore storytelling, voice, and civics through music. Teachers receive lesson plans that connect directly to literacy, history, and social-emotional learning, ensuring the impact lasts long after the curtain falls.

Help us share the magic.

From the first note to the final bow, we’re inspiring the next generation of artists, audiences, and opera lovers. Partner with FGO, bring a performance to your school, volunteer, or make a donation to keep these transformative programs thriving.
